N/AThe Analyst’s role is to design, code, test, analyze, and manage software programs, reports, applications, and databases. This includes researching, designing, documenting, modifying system and software specifications. Analyzes and amends software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provides status reports when required. Works with various members of the organization to understand the business requirements for information systems and provide solutions based on the requirements.
Education/Training: Ability to read, write, and communication in English. Associates Degree in computer science or equivalent education/experience.
Experience: Minimum five years programming experience, preferably in a healthcare environment in both the clinical and revenue cycle aspects or equivalent. Experience in building reports to meet KPI measurements and using SQL for data extraction. Knowledge of building dashboards and other software analytical tools like Microsoft Power BI.
An understanding of application processes; understands and demonstrates principles of high-level programming. Working technical knowledge of programming environments and languages including the Microsoft .NET Framework and SQL. Experience working with enterprise applications including, Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint, experience with Microsoft operating systems. Hands-on software troubleshooting experience. Knowledge of HL7 and interface applications. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Licensure, Registration or Certification: Certifications in Epic Cogito, Caboodle & Clarity required. SQL Server, SharePoint a plus.
