
Emergency Room Paramedic with Weekend Rotation (FT, 1p-1a)
Job Description
Essential Job Function:
- Conducts reviews of emergency medical systems and protocols to ensure proper functionality and adherence to established standards.
- Ensures the quality and timeliness of reports, and records related to emergency medical services to maintain accurate records.
- Manages employee inquiries and troubleshoot issues requiring policy interpretation, to provide guidance and resolution.
- Coaches lower-level professionals to support their growth and development.
- Maintains a high level of expertise in emergency medical procedures, treatments, and technologies to deliver effective patient care.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- ED/Occ Health: Required: 1 year of Paramedic experience Carelink.
- Required: 3 years of EMS paramedic experience Carelink Transport positions, must have 3 years of EMS paramedic or critical care transport paramedic experience. Carelink relief paramedics must have 5 years of EMS paramedic experience & 1 year of critical care transport experience.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Current valid NC Paramedic certification BLS (CPR-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider ACLS). American Red Cross or Healthcare Provider, Valid Driver's License. If driving a CH vehicle must have minimum 5 years as a valid licensed driver with MVR must be approved by Risk Management. Emergency Vehicle Operator's course completed within 1 year of hire.
