Job Description
Position Description
Under direction loads, unloads, transports and organizes materials.
Job Responsibilities
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Transports materials to designated areas or locations
- Supplies production lines with needed materials.
- Understands Bill of Material (BOM) and/or part requirements in preparation for changeovers
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
- Ability to operate forklift efficiently and safety
- Ability to operate other material handling equipment
- Basic Computer Skills
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
High School diploma
General Education Degree
Experience Requirements
- Material Handling experience preferred
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
