Position Summary: CAM is looking for an Automotive Mechanic to support us at our client site in Fort Saskatchewan.  Key Responsibilities: Understand and follow CAM and client safety procedures and policies. Work independently and collaboratively with other mechanics, tradespeople, and contractors on site. Diagnose, repair, and maintain on-site vehicles and equipment, including a large fleet of Ford trucks (1998-1999 and 2020–present) and Dodge Rams (2011–2017). Maintain and repair a variety of equipment, including Honda pumps and generators, Sullivan portable compressors, Genie manlifts (30–80 ft), dewatering pumps, forklifts, and emergency response vehicles (Freightliner, International, Chevrolet, and Ford). Perform maintenance and minor repairs on stationary equipment, including Detroit Diesel, Cummins, and Volvo units. Manage assigned work according to schedule and respond to urgent tasks and repairs as needed. Support, guide, and mentor apprentices. Participate in rotating weekend fuel truck coverage. Perform a combination of shop-based and on-site service truck work.   Qualifications & Requirements: Red Seal Automotive Technician certification preferred; Heavy Equipment Technician certification is considered an asset. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Confidence in Computer skills, for required computer based tasks such as timesheet completion and use platforms such as WEBEDMS and Diamond Learning. Flexible, willing to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude. Work Schedule & Compensation: 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday), 10-hour shifts Competitive wages, benefits in alignment with the Operating Engineers Local 955.
