How you will create an impact: As a Senior Consultant in the Healthcare Life Sciences TSPE practice, you will support commercial due diligence engagements for private equity funds, corporate clients, and strategic investors across the healthcare and life sciences sector. You will: Support mid- and large-cap private equity clients, as well as corporates, in evaluating healthcare and life sciences investment opportunities across areas such as medical technology, diagnostics, digital health and healthcare IT, providers, healthcare B2B, consumer health, and animal health. Help answer critical investment questions, including: How large is the market, how fast is it growing, and how will it develop in the future? How is the target company positioned, and how is it gaining or losing share versus competitors? How satisfied are customers, providers, patients, or other stakeholders, and what are the opportunities for growth, up-sell, or retention? Can the business achieve its revenue growth targets? How can growth be accelerated over the next three to four years? How would the market and business perform under different economic, regulatory, or reimbursement scenarios? Conduct analyses of market size, growth, trends, customer behavior, competitor dynamics, and competitive positioning. Support customer interviews, expert interviews, and market surveys to understand stakeholder needs, buying behaviors, perceptions, and decision drivers. Prepare clear, insightful sections of client reports and presentations that help clients make informed investment decisions. Present findings internally and contribute to client discussions. Build effective working relationships with clients and internal project teams. Work on cross-border projects with Simon-Kucher colleagues around the world. Support broader team development and market activities, including business development, recruiting, marketing, and knowledge-building efforts. About you: 2-4 years’ experience within consulting or in the strategy/M A function of a corporate, with experience of carrying out commercial due diligence engagements CDD experience is a must An undergraduate degree is required; MS, MA, MBA, or other advanced degree is optional/nice to have. Experience leading commercial due diligence and or growth strategy projects is highly preferred Record of accomplishment of managing multiple projects, including work plans, deliverables, budgets, schedules, and accounts receivable Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, comfort with financial modeling and market analysis Excellent communication and persuasion skills as well as written and spoken. Team player, open and positive in a group dynamic. Effective presentation and communication abilities to present findings, takeaways, and key recommendations to a senior audience. Demonstrated record of solving complex problems, directing teams, and completing challenging project activities within tight project timelines. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work seamlessly and collaboratively with various internal and external colleagues and stakeholders. Total compensation for this role includes base salary, yearly performance bonus and eligibility for annual merit-based increases, and a comprehensive benefits package. The base salary range for this position is between $125,000 to $150,000 per year for U.S. roles. Specific compensation within these ranges will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and location. Salary ranges are reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with market conditions.
