Job Description

We are looking for a SSRS Developer with strong expertise in SQL and data visualization tools. This position will be full-time and onsite from Bengaluru.

What You’ll Do

• Utilize coding/scripting skills on databases like SQL and data tools to develop scalable and maintainable reports and dashboards

• Ensure code quality through unit testing, debugging, and documentation practices

• Identify performance bottlenecks in data processing and analytics workflows and optimize code, algorithms, and infrastructure to enhance scalability, speed, and efficiency

• Implement parallel processing, caching mechanisms, and other optimization techniques as required

• Provide tier 3+ support for in-group and out-of-group customers

• Make safe changes to production systems, including OS, databases, and application

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database changes and enhancements with application requirements

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data analytics, big data, and related technologies

• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and improve data and analytics capabilities

What You'll Need

Required:

• Proven experience as a BI Reports Developer, software engineer, or data engineer with a focus on SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

• B Tech/BE in Computer Science degree

• Expert-level database querying capability to build and track complex KPIs on SQL

• Working experience on SQL databases

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn independently

Preferred:

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as SAP BO, Power BI, or similar

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their data services

• Experience with Databricks, Python scripting, or Grafana

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings

• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
