We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineering Instructor/Analyst to provide comprehensive instruction, analysis, and technical guidance across multiple facets of military civil engineering operations. This position will be part-time and remote.
What You'll Do
This critical position requires a subject matter expert who can provide comprehensive instruction, analysis, and technical guidance across multiple facets of military civil engineering operations, with particular emphasis on facility operations, maintenance activities, and financial management systems
The person in this role will work intermittently to provide training at various locations throughout the United States during the term of engagement
Develop and deliver detailed, comprehensive training materials on FOMA, SRM, cooperative agreements, and iEMS operations
Teach complex material with clarity and precision, ensuring students understand both technical procedures and underlying principles
Create instructional content that addresses various learning styles and experience levels
Conduct both classroom and hands-on training sessions
Explain the "why" behind policies, procedures, and technical requirements, providing context that helps students understand the broader strategic implications of their work
Answer detailed, complex questions with accuracy and depth, drawing from extensive practical experience
Provide expert analysis on civil engineer enterprise challenges and recommend evidence-based solutions
Stay current with evolving regulations, technologies, and best practices
Conduct comprehensive assessments of facility operations, maintenance programs, and funding management systems
Provide strategic recommendations for improving efficiency, compliance, and mission effectiveness
Support leadership decision-making through detailed technical analysis and risk assessments
Mentor junior personnel and provide professional development guidance
What You'll Need
Experience developing and delivering detailed, comprehensive training materials on FOMA, SRM, cooperative agreements, and iEMS operations
Curriculum development experience
Experience with classroom facilitation
Experience providing expert analysis on civil engineer enterprise challenges and recommending evidence-based solutions
Experience conducting both classroom and hands-on training sessions
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$65 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
