Senior Infrastructure operation expert - MS SQL

The essence of the position:

Operation of CORE Infrastructure systems, components and services according to IT security regulations and business continuity requirements, under the team leader of CORE Infrastructure operation.

If it sounds interesting, then this role - Senior Infrastructure operation expert - MS SQL - might be your role based in Budapest, MOL Campus.

Responsibilities:

• Cooperation in the execution MOL Group’s business, functional regional and IT strategy within the employee’s organization, furthermore, active participation in maintaining service provider approach.

• Operation of the IT infrastructure’s both hardware and software side components, monitoring system used by MOL, in line with expectations.

• Participation in the standardization of operating processes, tracking and consolidating the life cycle of equipment while introducing new versions. Supporting the implementation, cost-efficient execution and control of changes in IT operation from development and modification.

• Ensures availability of system(s) and service(s) with specified parameters (SLA, OLA) with standby activity, if necessary. Has comprehensive knowledge about the system’s performance and capacity and the employee report on them periodically or as needed. Guides the planning and building of the system’s resilience, defines the system data’s saving and archiving strategy and participates in the elaboration and supervision of disaster plans.

• The employee creates documentation of systems, related to it’s responsibility, such as, configuration management, capacity management, user management, etc. and keeps them up-to-date.

• At a frequency specified by the system owner, the employee creates performance indicators and  reports about operated services.

• Receiving and handling of error reports and problems, furthermore, ensuring to resolve the problem within given time (SLA, OLA). Making suggestions to improve error handling processes.

• Participation in professional consultations with internal professional partners, external experts and contracted partners about tasks dedicated to the employee. Initiating and in case of execution, developing plans for more efficient processes.

• Responsibility for compliance and enforcement of IT security regulation on systems related to the employee. In the event of detected infringement, the employee must report it to his/her leader and in the event of IT emergency, ensures the primary role of business continuity at his/her field.

Requirements:

• University/College degree is an advantage
• 3-5+ years relevant experience 
• Knowledge of IT systems, equipments and applications, ITIL v3 knowledge, comprehensive server side IT knowledge,
• Service-oriented approach
• Risk analizing skill
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to take on call duties
