Job Description
Summary
Responsible to deliver Buhler’s required quotation services within the given timeframe and required quality, while ensuring compliance with Bühler-related directives and EHS standards.
Job Responsibilities
Sales / Quotation Support / Technical Consultation
- Provide needed support to Sales and other departments as needed for sales and quotation
- Liaise with different SAS and departments, as well as other colleagues for all aspects of quotation support
- Provide technical consultation and support for Sales and customers pertaining to quotations. If needed, recommend alternative options and solutions
Quote Generation
- Identify machines and services according to correct specifications and input into the necessary software/tools
- Perform technical and commercial review of purchase orders, requests for quotation, flow sheets, data sheets, concept / installation drawings, and specifications.
- Generate machine specificiations, services, and quotations, based on material/customer requirements provided by Sales.
- Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers for installation and labor costs as needed
Serives Project Quotation
- Manage the allocated scope of work to achieve the Service Project Business quotation goals and objectives.
- Focus on handling quotations assigned from Service Project Quotation Pool and ensures timely submission.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 2-3 years as Quotation Engineer or proof of sufficient skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, AutoCAD 3D and Navigator would be an advantage
- Good understanding of working process during Sales Quotation / Fulfilment phase
- Experience in Project Management / Process Engineering is a plus
- Should have sound knowledge of incoterm while importing within SEA countries (as such Free trade agreements, import license requirement, restrictions to import certain material from certain country, certification requirement etc)
- Able to comfortably work in a matrix organization
- Good spoken and written communication skills (compulsory in English and other regional languages as an added advantage)
