Job Description
100% - Instruction:
- Teach a specified number of classes for programs in a specific content area. Courses may be taught in person, hybrid, or fully online. Instructors may be asked to work with instructional design staff to plan class instruction.
- Evaluate student work and/or provide timely feedback in the context of program learning objectives or client objectives within the parameters set by the program leader.
- Provide feedback for students in relation to the content area outside of the classroom and within the parameters set by the program leader.
- Facilitate class discussions within a program, bringing together curriculum content delivered by a variety of instructors linking to defined competencies and learning outcomes.
- Assist with tracking student attendance and engagement within the learning environments.
- When requested, design course content and assessment mechanisms within the parameters of the program or client objectives.
- Contribute to analysis of student feedback and the PMC's discussions about continuous improvement of programs.
- Adhere to departmental, college and university policies.
