Ensure the quality and suitability of crew line-ups (Officers and Ratings) for the assigned fleet of vessels.
Manage vessels’ safe manning requirements in accordance with client approvals and agreements, including implementing reduced crew complements where applicable and supported by necessary exemptions.
In cases of emergency relief, propose and arrange suitable replacement seafarers, subject to validation by the Team Lead / COO.
Prepare transfer or exit plans for vessels undergoing changes in nationality allocation or leaving the Company, and develop relief plans for specific client-driven projects.
Ensure all rejoining seafarers have their latest performance appraisals updated in the Company database, and verify eligibility for re-employment based on appraisal scores.
Monitor and ensure all required crew records are accurately and timely maintained in the Company database.
Ensure Riding Squad members and any additional seafarers comply with client requirements and are properly reported for invoicing purposes.
Review Seafarers’ Employment Agreements and POEA contracts, ensuring proper documentation and filing within the system.
Participate in the Duty Officer roster once every two months, remaining on 24/7 standby for emergency calls during the assigned period.
Review and pre-approve all non-wage-related expenses in accordance with company guidelines.
