How you will make an impact?

As Data & Performance Specialist in Global Planning, you will be responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making across demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP/S&OE processes. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT, and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure strong system support, trusted data foundations, and scalable digital solutions across our planning landscape. You will act as a key bridge between business and technology, translating planning needs into practical analytics and automation solutions while continuously improving our planning setup and digital capabilities.

Specifically, you will

• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions in Power BI to support operational and tactical decision-making
• Support the activation and continuous development of planning tool capabilities, including SAP IBP functionalities supporting S&OP and S&OE
• Ensure core planning data readiness and enable a trusted “single source of truth” through structured data management, governance, and system support
• Act as Solution Owner for selected digital solutions, translating business requirements into scalable solution designs while ensuring stability, maintenance, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate closely with Data & Analytics and IT teams regarding architecture, data access, governance, and deployment of scalable solutions
• Support implementation of tools and systems aligned with planning process requirements and future developments

The role sits within AFI’s Global Planning organisation and reports to the Head of Global Planning, and is based in Aarhus.

Furthermore, you likely bring

• 4+ years of experience working with Business Intelligence, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, report development, and DAX basics
• SQL knowledge for extracting and shaping data
• Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and/or Power Apps
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and access management principles
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business, finance, and IT functions
• A structured and detail-oriented mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to deliver maintainable solutions

It is considered an advantage if you also have

• Interest in S&OP, S&OE, and end-to-end planning processes and experience from FMCG, supply chain, or planning environments
• Familiarity with planning systems and integrated business planning tools (e.g. SAP IBP)
