Description

Infor is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst, Associate to join Infor Document Management (IDM) Team. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their QA career who are passionate about software quality, testing methodologies, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

As an Associate QA Analyst, you will work closely with developers,business analysts, and senior QA professionals to validate software functionality, identify defects, and ensure product releases meet quality standards. You will gain hands-on experience in manual and automation testing while contributing to enterprise-grade cloud applications.



A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

  • Understand product requirements, business workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and retest software defects using defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives in Agile environments.
  • Support test automation initiatives by learning and contributing to automation scripts.
  • Validate APIs, UI functionality, and backend integrations where applicable.
  • Assist in preparing test data and maintaining test environments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and documentation.
  • Ensure software quality aligns with customer expectations and business objectives.



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1 –2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
  • Familiarity with manual testing concepts and defect tracking processes.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn automation testing tools and modern QA practices.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
  • Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based or enterprise software applications.
  • Internship or academic project experience related to software testing.
