Overview
Job Description
The Senior Dosimetrist is a highly experienced radiation therapy professional responsible for advanced treatment planning, quality assurance, and clinical leadership within the radiation oncology department. This role supports complex cases, ensures compliance with clinical and regulatory standards, and serves as a mentor and technical resource to dosimetry staff. Provides advanced expertise in measuring and calculating radiation doses and developing optimum arrangement of radiation fields and exposures to treat patients under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist. Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care.
Education:
- Bachelors Level Degree REQUIRED
Certification/Licensure
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist Certification REQUIRED
- BLS Certification REQUIRED
Experience
- Prior Dosimetrist experience PREFERRED
