Job Title: Pressure Washing Crew Lead
Location: Various sites (Southwest Florida)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Pressure Washing Lead to support custodial and exterior cleaning services across multiple sites. Working under the direction of the Janitorial Services Manager and the Pressure Washing Supervisor, this role is responsible for leading pressure washing activities, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and customer service standards. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on technical experience, strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physically demanding work while supporting Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities and strengthening the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the set‑up and preparation of each scheduled pressure washing job site.
- Operate, adjust, and maintain pressure washing equipment and accessories.
- Perform manual pressure washing of contracted surfaces to required quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Safely handle pressurized water, cleaning chemicals, and related materials.
- Load, unload, transport, and secure equipment and supplies for each job.
- Inspect completed work prior to leaving the job site to ensure all services are complete.
- Provide excellent customer service to stores, administrative teams, vendors, and donors.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Two (2) years of verifiable work experience preferred.
- Ability to operate small engine‑driven pressure washing equipment.
- Working knowledge of pressure washing operations, job setup, and safety practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines related to pressurized water, chemicals, and equipment.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to walk, kneel, climb, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, and perform manual labor.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work outdoors with exposure to weather, noise, chemicals, and pressurized water.
