Minibus Driver - Camp YMCA Kanawana

Camp YMCA Kanawana is Quebec’s oldest residential summer camp, offering innovative programming and traditional  camping based on YMCA values. Under the supervision of the camp director, the chosen candidate will be responsible for driving participants to various activities, mainly in rural areas.    WHY JOIN THE YMCA? Driving  participants to various activities, mainly in remote areas for canoe trips. Completing reports on trips and vehicle inspections. Driving the vehicle to maintenance and inspection appointments. Oversee the inspection and maintenance of all emergency vehicles at camp. Adhere to the YMCA’s Protection of Children and Vulnerable Persons Policy. Understand  and integrate the value of philanthropy in your position and in the Association and participate in fundraising activities/events.   WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Have a 4B drivers’ licence or better (1, 2, 3 or 4A). Have an excellent personal and professional driving record. Have experience driving heavy vehicles with passengers. Enjoy working with children and in nature. Fluency in spoken and written French (required).Fluency in spoken and written English (required based on operational needs related to clientele and communications).
