Job Description
The Water Meter Tech I installs, maintains, tests, and repairs water meters ranging from ¾” to 6”. The role supports water distribution operations by assisting with water and sewer taps and investigating meter-related issues. This position is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining the AMI system to ensure accurate data collection and reliability. It also provides customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining billing and usage, and assisting with leaks and meter concerns.
The salary range for this position is $25.42 - $34.32 per hour with a hiring range of $25.42 - $29.87, depending on qualifications and experience. This opportunity will be available to applicants until filled.
