This is an opportunity for a collaborative healthcare leader to partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical leaders, and executive leadership to shape the future of primary care delivery across Northwest Montana. As the Director of Primary Care Service Line, you will:

  • Lead the operational and strategic direction of the Primary Care Service Line.

  • Partner closely with physicians and providers to improve access, quality, and patient outcomes.

  • Develop and execute growth strategies that support organizational priorities and community needs.

  • Drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and service excellence.

  • Foster strong relationships with employed and independent providers, clinic leaders, and community partners.

  • Lead change initiatives that enhance patient care, employee engagement, and provider satisfaction.

  • Support recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts for providers and leaders throughout the service line.

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term service line strategies aligned with Logan Health's mission, vision, and organizational goals.

  • Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, market development, and improved patient access.

  • Utilize healthcare market trends, data analytics, and operational insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Lead service line initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, patient satisfaction, and organizational performance.

Provider & Physician Partnership

  • Build trusted relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical leaders.

  • Serve as a key liaison between providers and organizational leadership.

  • Support provider recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, and performance initiatives.

  • Collaborate with providers to develop innovative solutions that enhance care delivery and patient outcomes.

Operational Excellence

  • Provide oversight for clinic operations, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure operational consistency, regulatory compliance, and achievement of quality standards.

  • Lead process improvement efforts that enhance efficiency, patient experience, and team effectiveness.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial & Business Leadership

  • Develop and manage budgets, productivity goals, and financial performance targets.

  • Analyze financial, operational, and market data to support informed business decisions.

  • Build and execute business plans with measurable outcomes and financial accountability.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen market position and support sustainable service line growth.

Team & Culture Development

  • Lead through influence, collaboration, and servant leadership.

  • Create an environment where leaders, providers, and staff feel supported, empowered, and engaged.

  • Coach and develop leaders while fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and excellence.


What We're Looking For

We are seeking a healthcare leader who combines strategic vision with operational expertise and has a passion for building strong relationships with physicians, providers, and care teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) of the following required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, leadership, or business-related field.

    • Minimum of five (5) year’s related experience in assigned area(s).

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ leadership experience required.

  • Prior experience working with physician groups, clinicians, doctors, and staff required.

  • Expert level knowledge of interpretation, analysis, production, and application of financial and market data to impact decision-making and business development required.

  • Experience developing and executing specific, measurable business plans that have clear financial accountability and create successful, effective results required.

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and develop patient care services appropriate for the assigned geography required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.

  • Experience leading multi-site physician practices or ambulatory care operations.

  • Knowledge of population health, value-based care, provider compensation models, and healthcare market dynamics.

  • Clinical background or experience supporting clinical operations.

Shift:

Variable (United States of America)

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
