Product design engineer for customized solutions 1

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of professional design data including 3D assemblies and drawings of customer-specific products, type sheets and bill of materials using the NX CAD system;
• Creation of cable assembly drawings, complex harnesses drawings and mechanical components based on detailed specifications in compliance with international standards, HARTING factory standards and internal guidelines;
• Processing of document changes for global, regional and local areas;
• Initiate workflow for distribution of technical documents (e.g. design data, customer data, etc.) and maintenance of document data;
• Key user responsability for Teamcenter, offering support for testing, training, and rollout activities during the PLM implementation phase

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar position;
• Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor's degree in Machine Building Technology or Electromechanics, with a focus on Research/Design;
• Good CAD skills in 3D and 2D, preferably Siemens NX;
• Proeficient with Teamcenter and SAP knowledge desirable;
• Confident use of standard MS Office programmes;
• Good written and spoken English skills, German is an advantage.
