MBOS System Integration Process & Outsourcing Strategy

   Objective of Job

 

• Design and implement MB.OS system integration outsourcing strategy and process.

• Communicate with different testing domain leads on test requirement and translate to supplier implementation contents and requirement.

• Manage supplier resources centralized within RDC on testing related in order to gain efficiency(cost, time, quality)

• Utilize digital tools such as AI and big data to promote the intellectualization of processes, digitalization of management, and visualization of  data, drive process optimization.

• Regularly evaluate and review supplier performance and drive for improvement.

• Develop new potential supplier/partner to support product development

Tasks:

1.     Design and implement MB.OS system integration outsourcing strategy:

•     Design MB.OS system integration outsourcing strategy to match and support RDC full business strategy

•     Communicate with different testing domain leads and testing engineers on test requirement, and translate to supplier implementation contents and requirement.

2.     Supplier management:

•     Manage supplier resources centralized within RDC on testing related in order to gain efficiency(cost, time, quality)

•     Define supplier service SoW and working content with testing engineers

•     Use sufficient dashboard, figures to indicate overall resource status

•     Regularly evaluate and review supplier performance and drive for improvement.

•     Searching and develop new potential supplier both on testing service and facilities

•     Continue maintain current supplier, develop their new scope to support business

3.     Digital Management of Test Resources:

•     Build and optimize the digital management system for test resources (test benches, test vehicles, outsourced test suppliers), use digital tools to realize visual management and control of resource information, usage status, and scheduling, and improve resource utilization rate and scheduling efficiency.

•     Coordinate with the supplier digital management position to realize the connection of outsourced test supplier data, assist in the digital evaluation and dynamic management of suppliers, and ensure the matching of supplier resources with test needs.

•     Establish a digital management mechanism for test resource accounts, and realize digital traceability and management of the entire life cycle of resources (procurement, use, maintenance, scrap).

4.     Data Visualization and Intelligent Application

•     Be responsible for building a visual dashboard for the entire RDC testing process and test resource management, integrate AI analysis results and big data insights, and realize real-time monitoring and abnormal early warning of key indicators (such as test progress, resource utilization rate, defect rate, supplier performance rate).

•     Explore innovative applications of AI and big data in autonomous driving and intelligent cockpit test verification (such as scenario simulation optimization, automated defect review, etc.), and promote the iterative upgrading of digital capabilities.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or above in vehicle engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related area
• 3-5 years of experience in vehicle EE, ADAS, Telematics testing related area.
• Intensive knowledge of Testing and supplier management
• Basic knowledge of project management and MS office skill. ISTQB is beneficial
• Strategical thinking of resource centralization and management
• Veteran in Driving. Internal driver license in OEM is welcome
• Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German language beneficial.
• Excellent communication and team working skills as a part of a global team in a multi-cultural environment.
• Excellent hands-on engineering mindset to solve issues with necessary pragmatism and creativity.
• Independent and proactive working style, willingness to travel inside China and abroad to conduct system testing.
• Eager to use AI and big data-related technologies and tools to improve process and gain efficiency
• Familiar to PG and Cities for testing
