Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support government Financial Managers by providing budgets, submissions and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) tracking.
- Analyze PARM 7300 submissions and determine reasonableness and accuracy of the estimates.
- Execute data/reports from financial databases for GFE and CFE systems and ship platforms.
- Provide financial directions for Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMS). Provide input to validate and challenge PARM costs, and assess the cost impact of technical issues, which are identified in the PARM reviews.
- Provide database management and programming support in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Provide assistance in researching and writing responses to comptroller and higher-level authority questions and inquiries. Provide rapid response for reclamas and time sensitive inputs.
- Assist in the development of briefings for presentation on issues related to GFE financial management.
- Assist in various financial studies, as required, including the potential for new baselines, new weapons systems, potential system de-scopes, and industrial base issues.
- Assist in the development of funding execution documents, where necessary, to support emergent PARM funding execution requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline, Business Management, or Science from an accredited college or university
- Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) will be required
- Fifteen (15) years of professional experience in financial management in DoD acquisition
- Five (5) years of professional experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Five (5) years of professional experience in Program Budget Information System (PBIS)
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, spreadsheets/workbooks, equations, data sorting.
- Basic Technical writing ability
- Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but nothing greater than 30 lbs.
- Travel up to 25% may be required within and outside of the continental United States
