Role Overview
They are hiring a hands-on automation engineer/programmer who can:
- Develop and test PLC software
- Work with industrial automation systems
- Support global engineering teams

Work Experience
Programming Skills
You should know at least one of these PLC programming languages:
- Ladder Logic (LL) – most common in PLCs
- Structured Text (ST) – similar to high-level programming like C
- CodeBlocks / similar environments
PLC Hardware & Platforms
Experience with major industrial automation vendors:
- Siemens
- Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley)
- Schneider Electric
- or similar systems
Industrial Communication Protocols
You must understand how machines communicate:
- Profinet
- Profibus
- Modbus
- EtherNet/IP
Testing & Validation
- SIL (Software-in-the-loop) – testing code without hardware
- HIL (Hardware-in-the-loop) – testing with real hardware setups
Additional Responsibilities
- Set up HIL testing environments
- Support teams across different countries (remote/global support)
- Work on commissioning (deploying automation systems on-site)
- Use Git or version control tools for code management
