Your Role:
As a Maintenance Technician 1 supporting our renowned Supelco brand in Bellefonte, PA, you aren’t just fixing machinery, you are keeping global science moving. Our facility produces high-quality analytical products, and you will be the backbone of the production floor, ensuring our teams can manufacture safely, efficiently, and without interruption.
In this dynamic role, you will take ownership of our facility's health and operational success. Your daily impact will include:
- Maximizing Uptime: Execute precise, routine preventative maintenance on specialized production equipment to keep our operations running at peak efficiency.
- Rapid Problem Solving: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across a diverse range of machinery to minimize downtime and keep production on track.
- Driving Innovation: Actively participate in continuous process improvement initiatives and exciting capital projects that elevate our site's manufacturing capabilities.
- Adapt & Deliver: Masterfully manage and prioritize a shifting queue of tasks, safely adapting to changing production demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Be the Safety Anchor: Maintain a secure, clean, and highly effective workplace for all team members and visitors, participating in occasional on-call support to handle urgent, off-hour equipment challenges.
Physical capabilities:
- Lifting up to 70 lbs.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical controls, including PLCs.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and P&IDs.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range for this position: $24.00 - $37.00
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
