Global Supply Chain Associate (GSA) PG 6-8

Position Summary
The Global Supply Chain Associate (GSA) supports end-to-end supply chain planning and execution across Sylvamo’ s integrated network. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory levels, supporting production planning activities, and ensuring alignment between customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and distribution operations.
The GSA collaborates closely with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Planning, Replenishment Planning, Transportation, and Manufacturing teams to ensure Sylvamo delivers on customer commitments while optimizing service, cost, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Support inventory management and replenishment planning activities to maintain optimal inventory levels across the network, including make-to-stock, make-to-order, and non-conforming inventory
Assist in developing and maintaining production or run schedules that meet customer demand and manufacturing constraints
Analyze forecasts, demand patterns, and consumption trends to support supply and replenishment decisions
Identify and resolve supply chain disruptions, including stockouts, production issues, and service challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Sales, Manufacturing, Transportation, Finance) to align priorities and ensure customer commitments are met
Communicate proactively on supply chain issues, risks, and performance with key stakeholders
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on service, cost, and process efficiency
Utilize SAP and planning tools to monitor inventory, production, and replenishment activities and resolve issues
Assist in identifying root causes of supply chain issues and implementing corrective actions
Support onboarding and training of new team members on processes and tools as needed
Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines and customer commitments
Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
Understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, inventory management, and distribution
Ability to balance daily operational tasks with longer-term improvement initiatives
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and build strong working relationships
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
1–4+ years of supply chain, operations, or customer service experience
Experience working in a cross-functional, integrated supply chain environment preferred
SAP experience preferred
