Position: Line Cook / Cook
We are hiring motivated, reliable Line Cooks to join our Big Woods Speedway kitchen. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys preparing high‑quality food from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and plate menu items from scratch using a variety of culinary techniques
Work closely with the Chef to execute dishes consistently and maintain kitchen standards
Assist with training and developing fellow line cooks
Collaborate with managers and front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely service
Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked kitchen
Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and rotation procedures
Support the team with prep work, portioning, grilling, sautéing, and other cooking tasks

Strong communication skills with staff, management, and guests
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs. during shifts
Must be at least 18 years old
ServeSafe certification preferred (not required)
Previous line cook or kitchen experience is a plus
