Job Description

We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Manager to take full accountability for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of our Building & Infrastructure (B&I) business unit. This role is designed for a leader who combines technical industry expertise with sharp financial acumen. You will be responsible for the entire operational lifecycle—from resource optimization and cost management to ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • P&L Management: Full accountability for the business unit’s financial performance. Drive revenue growth, manage operational costs, and maximize EBITDA margins.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead the delivery of TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) services, ensuring all projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with global Bureau Veritas standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement annual operational plans and budgets. Monitor KPIs and provide regular financial forecasts and variance analysis to regional leadership.
  • Resource & Capacity Planning: Optimize workforce utilization. Manage a team of technical experts and inspectors, ensuring they have the necessary competencies and certifications.
  • Commercial Support: Work closely with the Business Development team to provide technical input for tenders and ensure that proposed commercial terms align with operational capabilities and margin targets.
  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies and maintain the integrity of all technical reports and certifications.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in the Building, Construction, or Infrastructure industry, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing P&L or a significant business unit.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong ability to interpret financial statements, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures.
  • Technical Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field is required.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing large, diverse technical teams and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Communication: Excellent command of English (both written and verbal) and professional fluency in the local language.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
