As a Senior Analyst, US Corporate Tax your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing U.S. corporate federal and state tax returns
• Researching U.S. tax issues
• Preparing file memoranda and client correspondence
• Proactively resolve tax related issues with clients and other staff members through direct contact with them and researching and drafting responses
• Identify and develop new opportunities for additional tax services
• Provide exceptional client service

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Senior Analyst, US Corporate Tax? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
• Accounting Diploma or Certificate; an accounting designation is considered an asset
• 2 to 3 years of experience in public practice is preferred
• Experience in personal tax compliance
• Career-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge in accounting and US tax compliance preferred
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
• Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to grasp new technology tools

We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors, and levels to ensure our ranges are both competitive and current. But we don’t stop there. We also consider the unique strengths, experiences, and impact each individual brings to the table. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors—your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $63,750–$83,750 in Waterloo. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
