Primary Objective:
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations for a designated group, assessing team members’ performance, providing training, coaching, and overall management. As the Production Supervisor, you will ensure area production targets are achieved per plans and will work directly with team members as required to determine improvements to processes.
Shift: D-shift- Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM. 25% shift differential.
Training will be on E shift- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, for approximately 3 months.
Major areas of accountability:
•Supervising and leading a team of approximately 5 to 10 team members to ensure Production targets are achieved.
•Train, develop, and motivate individual contributors
•Achieve operational results by communicating job expectations; planning, coaching employees, and monitoring and appraising job results
•Foster a strong sense of “Team” by balancing morale and deliverables through the use of recognition and coaching
•Partner with Engineering and Maintenance to schedule, communicate, and prioritize daily production materials with area leads
•Coordinate job rotation and cross-training
•Share company updates, financial results, and new objectives with team members
•Assist in resolving emergencies, such as a quality or customer problem that might be escalated to the team supervisor for handling
•Identify and resolve workplace problems, including tardiness or absenteeism
•Drive continuous improvement within the assigned organization
•Facilitate production meetings
•Forecast and understand critical production indices
•Enforce production and safety procedures in all areas
Operate assigned machines in a cleanroom environment.
Load and unload wafer production machines.
The job also requires performing other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) diploma, or equivalent
•Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a role demonstrating leading, mentoring, and coaching; Experience working in the semiconductor industry
•Ability to instill a high sense of urgency, results-driven culture, and provide direction to achieve the department goals
•Strong verbal and written communications with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
•Solid experience in independently identifying, analyzing, and solving problems with creative and successful solutions. Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions.
•Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities with competing deadlines
•Intermediate computer skills with MS Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint
•Intermediate to advanced Excel skills to generate and assemble analytical reports with MS Excel, Fabtime, FPS, or other similar systems
•Effective organizational planning skills
•Flexibility to work a compressed schedule, alternating three and four 12-hour workdays per week
US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain a government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship

The employee will be required to work in a cleanroom environment: full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, face mask, nitrile gloves, and safety glasses).
