Your Role
We are looking for a Team Lead - Master Data Management who will oversee the governance, quality, and maintenance of master data across enterprise systems. In this role, you will lead a team of MDM professionals, ensuring the timely and accurate creation, update, and management of master data while driving compliance with data governance standards. You will play a key role in process optimization, stakeholder management, and transition initiatives, supporting the organization's data quality and operational excellence objectives. As the role is part of a transition environment, hands-on experience in transition or migration projects is considered a valuable asset.

Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the Master Data Management team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to established KPIs and SLAs.
Oversee the creation, maintenance, validation, and governance of master data records across ERP and related business systems.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards.
Drive data quality initiatives by monitoring performance metrics, conducting audits, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex data issues and support business operations effectively.
Lead process improvement initiatives, standardization efforts, and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
Support and coordinate system transitions, migrations, and transformation projects, ensuring data readiness and successful implementation.
Act as the primary escalation point for master data-related issues and provide guidance on governance and best practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, business units, and external partners where applicable.
Your Profile
4+ years of relevant professional experience in Master Data Management, including at least 2 years in a team leadership role, preferably within a Shared Services, outsourcing, or global business services environment.
Min. bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related fields.
Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and master data processes.
Experience supporting system transitions, migrations, or transformation projects is highly desirable.
Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels.
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
