Job Description
Your Role
In assigned territory act as first contact point for customers. Process orders and coordinate complaint management/returns with relevant stakeholders to achieve high customer service excellence.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, supporting sales and operational teams with account-related queries and order management.
Manage order processing workflows, ensuring accuracy in pricing, margins, and product availability.
Collaborate closely with sales and finance teams to support commercial decision-making and ensure alignment on pricing strategies and margin targets.
Monitor and analyze customer orders and account activity to identify opportunities for upselling and improving profitability.
Provide detailed product and pricing information to support quotations and contract negotiations.
Support the commercial team by preparing reports on sales performance, pricing trends, and margin analysis
Use SAP (or other ERP systems) to process orders, track inventory, and update account information accurately.
Assist in resolving discrepancies related to billing, pricing, and deliveries, escalating issues as needed.
Maintain up-to-date records of customer and sales activity, ensuring data integrity across relevant systems.
Support the commercial team by preparing reports on sales performance, pricing trends, and margin analysis.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize order-to-cash processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Develop a strong understanding of the market, competitor pricing, and industry trends to support informed business decisions.
Communicate effectively across departments to ensure smooth operation and alignment of commercial objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant Experience: 3 to 5 years in customer service, sales support, or commercial administration roles.
Educational Background: Minimum of Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Experience working with ERP systems, with SAP experience considered a strong advantage.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic commercial environment.
Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and basic financial principles related to sales and profitability.
Previous exposure to sales processes is beneficial.
Familiarity with the chemical storage and distribution industry is a plus.
