Receiving - Clerk

To learn more about American Music & Sound, please visit our Web site at http://www.americanmusicandsound.com/.   Responsibilities Safely operate an order picker, reach truck, sit down counterbalance, or powered pallet jack.  Performs put away of merchandise. Confirming that all boxes/skids are accounted for from the transport bill; Shelving the stock in the appropriate warehouse locations; Accurately receive, transfer, and check UPC labeled inventory using an RF scan-gun. Handling product returns; Distributing RMAs (return merchandize authorizations) Identify inventory discrepancies in Service Stock; Carrying out additional duties such as packing and labeling items for picking and general warehouse maintenance. Job Qualifications Minimum of 3 years working in a distribution center in a Receiving Department, experience with returns and RMA's preferred.   Minimum of 1 year Reach Truck experience required, certification preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Excellent communications skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills; Demonstrated organizational ability and follow-through; Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment; Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team as well as autonomously; Strong attention to detail; Excellent Customer Service Skills Strong sense of urgency  Working Conditions Must be able to lift at least 50lbs without assistance using proper lifting techniques and/or with assistance of a pallet jack.   Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
