Room Attendant
Location: Courtyard by Marriott
Hammond, IN 46324
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will ensure that guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and welcoming, providing an exceptional experience for all our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and linens.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and pay attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Work Environment
This position requires standing, walking, and physical activity throughout the shift. The Hotel Room Attendant will work indoors and may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
