Ciklum is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
We are looking for a Middle Manual QA to join our talented R&D team. Hunt squad provides APIs and tools for data collection that is used to identify risks, patch vulnerabilities, and fortify customer infrastructure, along with UI pages that display detection results, incidents, and dashboards to provide actionable visibility into the environment.

Responsibilities:
- Owning the quality of new features from requirements through delivery across product areas and technologies
- Writing, maintaining, and presenting detailed test plans
- Designing and executing reliable, efficient, and thorough manual test cases
- Collaborating closely with engineering teams, product teams, customer success, and professional services to ensure smooth releases
- Investigating, documenting, and reporting issues with clear steps to reproduce
- Communicating effectively with our internal Hunt Platform team as a customer — a highly technical team within the company — which simplifies collaboration, accelerates feedback loops, and ensures clarity in requirements
Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of experience in manual quality assurance and software testing
- Have 2+ years of experience in end-to-end testing of large-scale backend or full-stack projects
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites
- Experience working with Linux-based systems
- Familiarity with some of the following technologies: MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and other big-data platforms (ability to validate data flows and system behaviors)
- Nice to have knowledge of networking protocols and security practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
