Job Description
[Key Responsibilities]
- Construction and engineering design for BESS/PV projects
- Assessment of energy throughputs/yields, different configurations, and equipment options
- Prepare preliminary design drawings including project layout, SLDs, construction and technical specs etc.
- Review technical drawings, designs, plans, tenders, regulatory, grid connection, and other aspects of project development
- Technical evaluation, engagement and management for contractors, suppliers, designers, consultants and third parties
- Evaluation on field variations and value engineering to optimize best practices of projects
- Risk assessment, construction, and acceleration plan
- Support projects, tender and technical queries, such as supply agreements, construction contracts and execution accordingly
- Report and reflect design work with good language and computer skills
- Good management skill toward vendors, contractors, and consultants
- Ensure that the projects are achieved, risks are properly managed, and resources are optimized
- After commissioning and completion of relevant energy storage tests, seamlessly and peacefully hand over the project to the O&M team after compiling a handover list and relevant training materials.
- Lead the BESS team, actively collaborate and communicate with other teams, assess and provide technical support.
- A team player who is happy to provide consultation and share insights with team members.
- Conduct one-self in a professional manner with high integrity that reflects the core value of Vena Energy
- Support regional BESS project for other country
[Qualifications]
Essential for this role
- BS in electrical, technical and/or engineering disciplines
- 3 years’ work with solar industrial corporations and involved with technical and engineering functions
- Knowledge to design, and review
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Auto CAD, MS Windows/Office, etc.
Good to have
- Master’s degree in electrical, technical and/or engineering disciplines
- 5 years’ work with solar industrial corporations and involved with technical and engineering functions
