Automotive Sales Consultant 

Location: Cable Dahmer Chevrolet of Independence -  1834 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO 64055

Compensation: $3,400 monthly guaranteed (paid as a draw) + competitive commission structure and performance-based bonuses

Full Time | Saturday Availability Required

Cable Dahmer Chevrolet of Independence is hiring a Sales Consultant to join our high-performing automotive sales team.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a background in sales, customer service, or other performance-driven roles who are looking to grow within a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.

With consistent customer traffic, inbound leads, and strong management support, this role offers the opportunity to build both a career and a strong income.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full automotive sales process from initial customer interaction through vehicle delivery

Provide a professional, consultative sales experience, understanding customer needs and guiding decisions

Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom traffic in a timely and consistent manner

Maintain and track sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions within CRM systems

Build relationships that generate repeat business and referrals

Meet and exceed sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics in a commission-based environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or commission-based environments preferred

Backgrounds in retail sales, inside sales, hospitality, or other high-interaction roles translate well

Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting with performance expectations

Self-motivated with a focus on income growth, consistency, and long-term career development
