A role in Inventory Management (IM) means applying your specialized and well-informed point of view to what we buy, how much, and where it needs to go from there. You’ll use the right combination of data and expertise to achieve the best possible product availability through proper inventory positioning.
As a Senior Inventory Manager, you will lead an IM team for categories across our product assortment. Primary functions will be to coach and develop a team of inventory analysts to ensure out of stock and inventory goals are met, cultivate an environment where the inventory management team is encouraged to drive insights and recommendations, and serving as the voice of IM in merchant, planning, and supply chain conversations. Your team will be accountable for various forecasting routines that systems are unable to tend to and will the primary owner of the forecast accuracy metric. As a leader of the IM team you will also be responsible for successfully driving the Integrated Demand Planning capability as one of the key partners.

Key skills will be expertise in inventory management systems and principals, translating data from an array of sources into insights and go-forward recommendations, consensus building and influencing at senior levels, strong communication skills, and accountability to driving exceptional results with a sense of urgency.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of overall experience and minimum 2+ years of relevant experience as a people leader
  • Direct team leadership with success achieving business results through that team
  • Knowledge of supply chain or inventory management principles, systems, and practical applications
  • Ability to deliver financial metrics and leverage reporting, tools and systems to drive the business forward
  • Ability to demonstrate courage, take risks and make decisions in a fast-paced complex environment.
  • Ability to manage an internal CFT to align resources and tactics against strategic business goal.
  • Respects, appreciates and is curious about differences related to working with others; committed to developing an inclusive team
  • A performance-driven individual who demonstrates strong initiative and has superior leadership skills
  • Flexibility, resiliency and nimbleness; comfortable working in “grey areas” that are constantly changing.
