Job Description

SKOV is a global leader in climate and farm management solutions. To support SKOV’s growth in North America, we are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager with expertise and strong network in the swine industry. You will play a key role in expanding SKOV’s footprint in the North American swine market by developing strong relationships with dealers and key industry stakeholders, ultimately driving the sales of SKOV’s advanced climate systems. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a passion for connecting and building long-term relationships with customers.

You act as the face of SKOV in the U.S. swine market, engaging customers in problem-solving and value‑based conversations rather than product pitches.

You tailor proposals, lead high‑value negotiations, and work closely with internal team members to shape solutions that create real value for customers. You are focused, persistent, and reliable. You manage long sales cycles with structure and discipline, meet deadlines, and keep your commitments—to customers and colleagues. You own your sales budgets, follow through on deliveries, and ensure smooth coordination with SKOV’s Customer Center and Global Service teams, regardless of geography or complexity.

You lead through professionalism, trust, and high standards rather than hierarchy. You collaborate closely with dealers, customers, and internal stakeholders to improve ways of working and raise the quality of how SKOV operates in the market. By taking ownership and continuously setting a higher bar, you help strengthen confidence in SKOV among customers, colleagues, and partners alike.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build strategic relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and repeat business

  • Drive direct sales to producers and integrators in the US swine market (focus on Midwest and surrounding states)

  • Execute on the strategy for growth in the US through your personal sales budget but also contribute to the overall objectives for the team in the US

  • Identify and connect with decision-makers at the executive and operational level

  • Follow up on deliveries and coordinate service through SKOV’s Customer Center and Global Service teams

  • Collaborate with key dealers and partners to expand SKOV’s local presence, ensuring alignment with the overall direct sales strategy

  • Collaborate closely with the North American team and project team in HQ to develop tailored, high-level solutions

  • Ensure strong communication between the market and headquarters regarding customer needs and trends

  • Represent SKOV at trade shows, exhibitions and training events

What You Bring

  • A strong network within the US swine production industry - ideally among integrators and large-scale producers

  • Experience selling technical or capital equipment solutions to agricultural or industrial customers

  • Proven ability to get through the door at the executive level and turn connections into commercial wins

  • Skilled in consultative sales and strategic account management

  • Understanding of livestock production systems (training on SKOV’s technologies will be provided)

  • Highly motivated, results-oriented mindset, comfortable with long sales cycles

  • Experience in negotiation, project management and deal closure

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years in B2B direct sales within agriculture, equipment or environmental systems.

  • Experience with integrators or production groups in the swine industry

  • Background in agriculture, engineering or business

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (30-50%), with occasional trips to Denmark

Success in this Role Looks Like

  • Securing new direct business with major producers and integrators

  • Strengthening SKOV’s visibility and market position in the U.S. swine segment

  • Building trusted, long-term customer relationships based on value and results

  • Acting as the face of SKOV for key U.S. producers and strategic accounts

For the right candidate, the position can soon evolve into a broader leadership role, with significant strategic responsibility and influence across SKOV’s commercial and people agenda in North America. Progression will depend on demonstrated impact, leadership behavior, and the ability to combine strong commercial results with trust‑based collaboration.

Location: Remote Midwest/Northeast USA (IL, MN, IA)
Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: Competitive compensation and benefits package
Travel: Approx. 30-50%
