Job Description
Job Summary
This position is responsible for sales at specific Key Accounts, directly supporting our effort to build relationships, develop utility products and service capabilities, manage projects, and overall develop the business to contribute to the continued success of the MPS company.
Job Duties
Coach and direct the work of a team of sales representatives who are responsible for selling organizational products or services
Utilize Salesforce tool to manage opportunities, drive pipeline growth, track meetings with utilities & partners, & aid in agency management
Track & report performance against expectations, ensuring that established revenue goals of growing at least 2x the market rate are met
Responsible for all levels of relationships across given Key Accounts, regardless of region,
Collaborate with RVP within territories to maximize market share growth
Develop and implement specialized or targeted sales strategies
Execute Sales Campaigns with external sales representatives
Responsible for all levels of relationships across given Key Accounts, regardless of region, & collaborate with RVP within territories to maximize market share growth
Provide competitive assessments, product or sales training or pricing and contracting assistance to the sales team
Assist marketing, advertising or related departments in promoting the organization's products or services
May oversee lead generation and/or qualification
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles
Perform complex tasks typically following established processes
Lead and direct the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions
Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures; may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning and procedural change
Typically require a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience
