The role may be based in any major French city, with a preference for locations offering strong national connectivity to enable efficient travel across France and support business needs.
As Area Sales Manager, your primary role will be responsible for building and leading a strong commercial team for ClearCorrect. The position is responsible for developing a High-Performance Sales Team, to achieve or exceed the short- and long-term business objectives of the market.
Position Summary:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within an assign market by managing a team of Territory Managers and developing strong relationships with dental professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
•Deliver top-line growth and optimize below-the-line investments - Maximize regional revenue performance and return on investment across discounts, team allocation, and events, while ensuring robust sales forecasting and full pipeline visibility.
•Sales Execution - Responsible for execution of the sales strategy with effective use of KPI’s, performance management, marketing campaigns, and effective simplistic communication of sales force key priorities and focus.
•Planning & Reporting - Develops, manages and executes quarterly territory plans with sales team by regular co-travels; submits accurate, timely and complete reports of the execution of the Sales Plan towards management (correct use all Straumann reporting and CRM tools to drive and monitor Sales execution).
•Sales Excellence - Regularly reviews the territory sales team results and performance and defines adequate measures to continuously improve the team’s ability to perform at high level is met through coaching, motivating and development of the sales force capability.
•Internal Stakeholders - Works closely with marketing and education to execute marketing and education strategies as well as support respective strategies with sales campaigns. Support branding initiatives and product launches in the market.
•External Network - Actively develops and maintains an external network of customers, Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders.
•Leading customer negotiation, pricing and contract management.
•Execute and monitor all Sales activities in line with compliance regulations.
•Coaching, motivating and developing the Territory Managers on a daily base. Conduct joint field visits for coaching and skills enhancement.
Your profile:
•Bachelor's degree required, preference for candidates with a graduate degree in business or management
•Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in the healthcare or orthodontics sector, with a strong track record in sales roles.
•Experience with consultative selling style.
•Experienced hunter of commercial opportunities with ability to articulate and action lead generation right through the sales cycle
•Experience with utilizing data to enable a solid business case to be presented to new and existing commercial opportunities.
•Extensive people management experience in driving performance, developing and motivating the team.
•Ability to adapt quickly and shape the business accordingly.
•Fluency in English and French required.
•Travel required more than 60% of the time
