Job Description

Job Summary: This is a strategic leadership hire for Coherent’s global R&D organization, responsible for the GS2000 Optical Networking Product Line. The Director of Software Development will own release planning and execution across Layer 0/1 embedded software, network element management, and system-level integration. They will build and lead a high-performing team, interact with PLM, Hardware, Systems, and Product Validation, and represent GS2000 software in key customer discussions.
