Job Description
The Software Engineering Analyst will be a key contributor to data and software solutions supporting next-generation CO2 laser manufacturing at the Coherent Bloomfield site. The focus of this role is development and support software solutions for laser metrology data collection, analysis, and integration with an overall ETL data pipeline for manufacturing and engineering. A successful candidate would be an industrious individual with a strong understanding of business information systems including aspects of security, cloud services, databases, computer hardware selection, OS configuration management, fleet management, etc. A background in large corporate IT organizations is advantageous. The ability to work both independently and within a team, as well as strong communication skills are indispensable for the role. Curiosity and desire to learn new skills and technologies are a must. Job location is on-site in Bloomfield, CT.
