The Project Scheduler role is responsible for providing support for project planning on engineering projects. This position ensures project results are meeting requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, constructability, schedule and cost. You will support internal and external resources and communicate throughout the company as well as with external vendors, contractors and customers. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Support project execution activities related to construction including but not limited to plant, pipeline and associated facility construction and operation and maintenance projects
- Support project team by executing on the project vision, obtaining necessary resources to execute projects, including the vetting and recommendation of hiring contractors, vendors and purchasing of necessary equipment through the established processes
- Support material logistics and coordination for construction projects starting with material procurement and oversight through the receiving and payment processes
- Support execution of scope definition through cost estimating, scheduling, designing, preparing bid instructions and bidding, procuring materials, managing construction, record keeping, right-of-way clearing and other environmental activities
- Support in development, implementation and management of project plans which include cost estimates, quality assurance, commissioning and project closure to complete projects on-time and on-budget with satisfactory quality
- Prepare and maintain schedule(s) document(s) for projects and project proposals
- Prepare reports for management; maintain all essential records and reports
- Assembles and prepare cost reports
- Prepare work orders and assist with invoice reviews for payment approvals
- Participate in regular meetings with project management and construction crews to review schedule and budget
- Assist with compiling all construction related documentation for ensuring completeness, accuracy and submission as per the company's documentation expectations
- May assist for ensuring regulatory and/or compliances related to project management and outcomes
Education
- Associate's Degree in construction science or closely related discipline and/or a combination for formal education and the following experience
Work Experience
- This level is typically attained with 0 -1 Experience with and knowledge of operations for processing, pipeline and related facility design, construction, maintenance and operation projects preferred
- Training and or knowledge of project management including scoping, estimating, identifying specifications, scheduling, executing contracts, procuring materials, managing construction, commissioning and startup, budgeting, conducting financial analyses and ensuring regulatory compliance preferred
- Experience in coordinating teams from various workgroups, managing relationships with internal and external contacts and engaging cooperation from all resources
- Experience identifying, researching, evaluating and prioritizing problems and situations; provide recommendations for appropriate actions to take and/or alternatives
- Experience researching, composing, preparing and administering contracts, engineering studies, policies, procedures, reports and technical correspondence preferred preferred
- Experience reading and interpreting governmental regulations, codes, manuals, policies, procedures, contracts, specifications and various reports and correspondence preferred

Expected Salary Range
$67,000.00 - $101,000.00
