Job Summary**
Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimal operation of front-end washing machinery within our can manufacturing facility. Ensures efficient production flow and product quality through meticulous mechanical expertise.
Job Responsibilities**
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on all front-end washing equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic issues in washing machines.
* Execute repairs, rebuilds, and replacements of faulty components such as pumps, motors, conveyors, sensors, and spray nozzles.
* Conduct equipment calibration and alignment to maintain specified operating parameters and product quality standards.
* Monitor machine performance, identify potential problems, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
* Collaborate with production teams to optimize washing processes and address operational concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment performance.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on new technologies.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new washing equipment as required.
Job Qualifications**
* Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing environment with experience on industrial washing equipment.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
* Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends, as needed.
* Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
