Job Summary:**
Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimal operation of decoration machinery and associated equipment within a high-volume can manufacturing environment, ensuring product quality and production efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on decorators, coaters, ovens, and related peripheral equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on decoration lines.
* Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of worn or faulty components, including bearings, gears, motors, sensors, and control systems.
* Conduct machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments to meet production requirements and product specifications.
* Monitor equipment performance, identify potential problems, and implement corrective actions to prevent breakdowns.
* Collaborate with production operators and supervisors to minimize downtime and optimize decoration line output.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new decoration machinery.
Job Qualifications:**
* Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician, preferably within a manufacturing environment (can manufacturing or packaging industry experience highly desirable).
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
* Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex machinery malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
* Familiarity with precision measurement tools and techniques.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
* Strong commitment to safety and quality.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various industrial conditions.
