Night Jockey

Imperial Dade has a Yard Jockey role available in Jessup! Join a strong and continuously evolving Transportation team helping to continue to grow our business. If you’re eager for your next opportunity, Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step.   The Yard Jockey drives trailers and box trucks from the central warehouse to the annex building and from docks to parking spaces.   You will work from 7pm or 9pm to Finish, Monday through Friday; some overtime is required.   Hourly: $27-$29   You will: Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on premises, from 24' box trucks to 53' trailers Transport empty trucks and loaded trucks Inspect vehicles before and after moving Report damage Assist in loading and unloading trucks Assist in the warehouse Pick up and drop off trucks from vendors Collaborate with coworkers You have: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Clear MVR A valid commercial driver’s license 1+ years of recent CDL A experience Route delivery experience (a plus) Manual pallet jack and hand truck experience (a plus) Lift gate experience (a plus) Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted Ability to work in any weather condition, as most work is completed outdoors
