POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
- Responsible to ensure that all aspects of the aerodrome's design, operation, and maintenance comply with CAAM safety standards and regulations. This includes overseeing inspections, audits, and assessments to confirm that the aerodrome meets the regulatory requirements set by CAAM and other regulatory body such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The role also involves managing risk mitigation strategies, liaising with regulatory agencies, and guiding the implementation of best practices to ensure the safety, security, and efficiency of the aerodrome's operations.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTION
- Ensure all internal/external documents related to Aerodrome are updated regularly.
- Ensure KUL HIRARC, ALOSP, Safety Performance records, and all SMS documentation are maintained and updated periodically.
- Lead and monitor airside audits in accordance with the Audit Program and Planner (Aerodrome Certification)
- Responsible to update and maintain Aerodrome related documents i.e Aerodrome Manual (AM), Apron Management Procedure (AMP), Aerodrome Emergency Plan (AEP), Safety Management System (SMS) Manual, Aerodrome Wildlife Hazard Management Plan (AWHMP) and Aerodrome Disabled Aircraft Removal Plan (ADARP).
- Responsible to update and maintain Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) product for the aerodrome is current.
- Responsible to coordinate for CAAM Audit Program.
- Responsible to ensure align process between aerodrome, ISO and other certification.

- Detailed-oriented as to ensure all aerodrome operations adhere to the most stringent aviation safety standards without exception.
- Provide firm leadership and guidance during audits, inspections, crisis situations and ensuring swift and correct actions.
- Strong background in identifying and mitigating operational risks, including those related to aerodrome infrastructure and environmental hazards.
- Oversees regular compliance audits, coordinates with authorities, and implements corrective measures for any non-compliance findings.
- Enhances operational efficiency and ensures all compliance issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner
Education
Bachelor Degree in Aviation Management or any related discipline
Relevant Industries
External
- Degree in Aviation Management, Civil Engineering or any related discipline
