What you will be doing?

 

This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently pursuing a proposal and are seeking qualified candidates to include in our submission and identify candidates for future hiring needs on the program once awarded.

  • Core Knowledge & Skills: Masters automation frameworks, scripting languages, security testing, test management, and CI/CD integration.

  • Work & Complexity: Performs end-to-end and performance testing, executes security testing, manages test environments, and ensures compliance.

  • Quality & Independence: Maintains high standards, identifies root causes, proactively addresses issues, and operates with high autonomy.

  • Teamwork & Communication: Leads team projects, collaborates cross-functionally, mentors juniors, and resolves conflicts.

  • Consulting & Engagement: Advises on automation frameworks, best practices, performance testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a QA Automation Engineer.

Project Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in C# and modern test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions, particularly for data migration and API-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# (XUnit framework)
  • Work on data migration testing, including validation rules and data integrity checks
  • Develop and execute post-deployment automation tests
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
  • Perform API testing and implement mocking strategies
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues using Visual Studio
  • Participate in CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps
  • Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the testing lifecycle

Required For This Opportunity

  • Strong hands-on experience in C#
  • Experience with Visual Studio for development and debugging
  • Solid understanding of MS Unit / XUnit frameworks
  • Experience with Cypress or Selenium (Cypress preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in API Testing
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Exposure to Playwright and Mock APIs
  • Experience in data migration projects
