Exciting Opportunity for E&I Supervisor
Are you an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation professional with strong supervisory skills? We are looking for an E&I Supervisor to oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring all work is executed in line with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. This role is critical in driving efficient project execution while maintaining safety and compliance across all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation and testing activities.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and specifications.
• Plan daily activities in coordination with Production and Planning teams.
• Ensure proper sequencing of electrical and instrumentation works.
• Supervise installation of electrical systems including cables, panels, MCCs, DBs, and motors.
• Ensure proper cable laying, routing, glanding, termination, and testing.
• Verify earthing and bonding systems and troubleshoot installation-related issues.
• Supervise installation of instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices.
• Ensure installations comply with P&IDs, hook-up drawings, and datasheets.
• Coordinate calibration, loop checking, signal testing, and instrument connections.
• Supervise pre-commissioning activities including IR testing, continuity checks, and loop checks.
• Support commissioning and functional testing activities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and client representatives during inspections, testing, and handover.
• Allocate manpower effectively and supervise Foremen to achieve productivity targets.
• Monitor team performance and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure availability and correct usage of E&I materials, tools, and testing equipment.
• Coordinate with stores and planning teams for material readiness.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
• Enforce HSE requirements, PTW system, and safe electrical practices including LOTO and grounding.
• Conduct toolbox talks and participate in incident investigations.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Structural, and other teams to resolve interface issues.
• Prepare daily progress, manpower, and productivity reports.
• Highlight delays, constraints, material shortages, and site challenges to management.
Requirements:
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: Up to 5 years of relevant experience in E&I installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of electrical installations and instrumentation systems. Familiarity with P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics. Ability to supervise teams, manage site activities, and ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and ability to handle project documentation and reporting.
