Job Description

Overview

Midwest Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking an organized, friendly, and customer-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy and growing dental office. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping patients, and values teamwork and excellent service.

Dental experience is strongly preferred, as this role is essential in creating a smooth and positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.


Schedule (days/hours)

Mon/Tues 7:15am-4:30pm, Wed/Thurs 6:45am-4pm
Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars efficiently
  • Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with treatment estimates
  • Answer phones and respond to patient questions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Support office flow and communication between clinical and administrative teams
  • Collect payments and assist with financial arrangements as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior dental office experience preferred
  • Experience with dental insurance verification and scheduling strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a busy office setting
  • Experience with dental practice management software is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting

Compensation

$18 - $21 per hour
