Business Teacher
December 1, 2026, through January 22, 2027
Wayzata High School
8 hours per day for 30 days
Compensation Range:  $52,308- $123,452 (Depending on Education and Experience)

Position Description:

Candidates selected to fill the combined role of Business Teacher at Wayzata High School will be given the great responsibility of continuing our long-standing commitment to academic excellence. This will be achieved through the design and delivery of Business Education instruction that ensures the success of a diverse learner population. In addition, you will be responsible for building positive relationships and collaborating with students, parents, and staff to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred candidates should have experience teaching Accounting, Introduction to Business, and/or Personal Finance.
  • Ideal candidates should have experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies that support diverse learners.
  • Candidate must have strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Candidate must be able to build positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Candidate must be proficient with current technology used to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring.
